The Old Print Shop is one of the oldest family run art galleries in New York City.  Currently the gallery is run by third and fourth generation owners.  The gallery was founded in 1898 and has been in the same location since 1922.  The Old Print Shop are specialists in American art.  We have an extensive collection of art from 1700 to contemporary.  We also are one of America‚Äôs leading dealers in old maps and atlases published between 1500 and 1900. 


We currently represent over 75 contemporary artists who use printmaking as their primary means of artistic expression.  Our collection of American Master Prints is extensive, we also represent a number of important artist estates.  The galleries holdings of eighteenth and nineteenth century American prints are the largest to be found for sale.  The Old Print Shop has over 100,000 works of art in its inventory and has a history of assisting collectors and museums acquire works of art.
