Galerie Boisserée
Cologne, Germany
Galerie Boisserée was founded in Cologne in 1838. On two floors in the city centre of Cologne, we showcase works by modern and contemporary artists. The gallery is specialized in works on paper and prints and is internationally well-known. The gallery program consists of works by artists from the European classical modern art like Pablo Picasso or Georges Braque. As well as works from the different abstractions known as the Spanish Informel or German abstract tendencies after 1945. Furthermore, the gallery is dealing with works from the British and the American Pop Art and focuses upon works by contemporary artists who are facing up with the modern ways of printmaking.

This year's issue of IFPDA online fair is dedicated to the body of printmaking artworks by British artist Tom Hammick. He is working with the complex method of the reduction woodcut which gives his works a very special haptic and aura of materiality. We decided to install an one-man-show to provide an impression of his manifold motifs, his colourful depiction and his virtuosity of printmaking.
"We are very happy to take part in this current issue of Spring 2022 IFPDA Fair. The online fairs held by IFPDA during the last two years, gave our gallery a fantastic platform and visibility. We are very grateful for being part of this." Thomas Weber, Director
