Galerie Boisserée was founded in 1838. Ever since it is a well-known place in Cologne for art collectors. Today, Galerie Boisserée is amongst European leading galleries for printmaking oeuvres of renown artists such as Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró or Georges Braque to name some from the European classic modern period. Moreover by artists from the British or American Pop Art up to contemporary artists like Alex Katz, Sean Scully, Julian Opie or Tom Hammick. The gallery shows up to 6 exhibitions during the year and takes part in art fairs regularly in Germany and abroad.

Exhibition with Works by Alex Katz at Galerie Boisserée
Our booth at this-year's IFPDA Print Fair Online gives an overview about our current gallery program. It is a tour from modern positions like the works by Georges Braque or Max Ernst to Richard Hamilton and Roy Lichtenstein as a classical Pop artists. We also showcase works by Georg Baselitz, one of the most important German peintre graveurs and works by Jaume Plensa, Julian Opie and Sean Scully, whose works from his printmaking oeuvre we are exhibiting in the gallery currently. The visitors will also find contemporary artworks by Patrick Hughes, Alex Katz or Julian Opie.
