Open since 1998 the gallery is focused on prints and editions by contemporary artists. We regularly attend international art fairs such as Arco, ZonaMaco, ArtBo, Parc Lima and the Print Fair in New York. Recent editions include collaborations with artists such as Ignasi Aballí, Iñaki Bonillas, Carlos Bunga, José Pedro Croft, Carlos Garaicoa, Luis Gordillo, Jan Hendrix, Jonathan Hernández, Joan Hernández Pijuan, Nico Munuera, Liliana Porter, Bernardí Roig or Regina Silveira. Our field of work includes all kinds of artworks that deal with graphics, printing, artist’s editions, photography and related areas.

All theoretical systems in the world of art that have used geometry as a meaning or structural base have been tempted to introduce elements of rupture. The tension between order and disorder has given rise to multiple interpretations of works based on geometric complexity.

The emotion that corrects the rule groups the practice of artists who, under the skeleton of lines and circles, appeal to emotionality, to musical order, even to the landscape, both interior and descriptive.

Other artists work on instability; the order is only an appearance since the fundamental thing is to introduce the spectator in the work space and to make him dance to its tune.

The architecture proposes the illusion of something solid, always alternating the importance of the structure and the skin of the buildings. The cities themselves are a visual field in which very diverse elements participate, from which the artists extract visual approaches. Repetition, modulation and scales of variations or textile wefts are elements that articulate the work of other artists and base their plastic results on them. Others have used geometry in a casual way as a structure of meaning rather than form.

For others the notions of weight, balance and volume are the basis of their work, while attending to the almost sculptural space of the paper. The balance between stain and emptiness is fundamental for these artists.

We want to forget about pure geometry to enter into the multiple faces of -taking the name of a legendary musical group- Geometric Splendor.
